Attached is the list of 2017 high impact teachers. Some teacher names have been redacted (in table as *****) because they were reported to the DOE as being exempt from public records disclosure.
Teachers rated as high impact must have received a highly effective rating in 16-17 on at least one of the following measures:
- 3-year aggregate VAM combined classification; or
- 8th grade Algebra I VAM classification; or
- 9th grade Algebra I VAM classification.
In addition, the teacher must have taught a VAM course in 1617 and had at least 10 assessments go into the calculation of the score that was used.
