Good morning all, we are excited to announce that myflteacher.com is now updated to include the teacher data from the 2014-15 year. We are sorry it has taken so long, the delay is basically because of how long it took the DOE to release teacher results this year, months longer than normal.
One thing we wanted to note is that there are fewer teachers identified as being in top 30% this year in some districts than we would have wished or that should have been. It appears some Florida Districts, Leon and Broward appear to be the prime examples, wrongly coded a number of teachers that should have been in the VAM data, many of whom would have been in the top 30% category. As a consequence, these teachers do not appear anywhere in the data set, and cannot be included in the top 30%, although their performance would have earned them that spot.
